Appliance Protection You Can Understand
DMV Appliances Outlet believes customers should understand what protection comes with their appliance and what additional protection options are available.
Depending on your purchase, there are two separate forms of protection:
- DMV Appliances Outlet 30-Day Functional Exchange Policy
- Optional Extended Warranty Protection Through Our Partner Vendors
These protections are separate and have different terms and coverage.
DMV Appliances Outlet 30-Day Functional Exchange
Eligible appliance purchases are protected by our 30-Day Functional Exchange Policy for qualifying functional problems.
When Your Coverage Begins
Delivery Orders: Your 30-day period begins on the date your appliance is delivered.
Customer Pickup Orders: Your 30-day period begins on the date the appliance is purchased/picked up.
If an eligible appliance experiences a qualifying functional problem during this period, contact DMV Appliances Outlet promptly.
We may troubleshoot, inspect, test, or otherwise evaluate the appliance. If the appliance qualifies for an exchange, our team will work with you to select an available replacement appliance of comparable type and value.
The 30-Day Functional Exchange Policy is not a money-back guarantee and does not cover change-of-mind returns, cosmetic imperfections, improper installation, misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized repairs, or problems caused by conditions outside of the appliance.
Please review our complete 30-Day Functional Exchange Policy for coverage details and exclusions.
Extended Warranty Protection
For customers who want additional protection beyond our 30-day exchange period, extended warranty options may be available through our partner warranty vendors on qualifying appliances. Our extended warranty plans are offered through our partner, CPS Protection Plans.
These optional plans may provide protection beyond DMV Appliances Outlet’s initial 30-day functional exchange period.
Extended warranty coverage is provided and/or administered by the applicable partner warranty vendor and is separate from DMV Appliances Outlet’s 30-Day Functional Exchange Policy.
Coverage varies by plan and provider. Before purchasing an extended warranty, customers should review the applicable warranty documentation for information regarding:
- Length of coverage
- Covered components and failures
- Exclusions and limitations
- Service fees or deductibles, if applicable
- Repair procedures
- Service provider requirements
- Replacement provisions
- Claim submission requirements
- Cancellation terms, if applicable
Adding Extended Warranty at Checkout
You can add an extended warranty to an eligible appliance when you check out. On the checkout page, find the Extended Warranty section and choose a term of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years from the menu for each appliance. The price of each option is shown in the menu, and the option you choose is added to the price of your appliance.
The options available depend on the price of the appliance. Plans are offered through CPS Protection Plans, and coverage, exclusions, deductibles and claim procedures are set by CPS Protection Plans. Extended warranty coverage is separate from our 30-Day Functional Exchange Policy. If you have questions about a plan before you buy, please contact us.
Who Handles Extended Warranty Claims?
Extended warranty claims are handled according to the procedures and terms established by the applicable partner warranty vendor.
Customers should keep their purchase receipt and all extended warranty documentation provided with their purchase.
If you purchased an extended warranty and are unsure how to begin a claim, contact DMV Appliances Outlet. Our team can help identify the applicable warranty provider and direct you to the appropriate claim information.
